How do I create a GetTogether/Meet-up?
To create a GetTogether/Meet-up on a FamilyIgloo:
-Go to the network's News&MeetUp tab.
-Click on the GetTogether tab.
-Click the link at the top right of the page to "Add a GetTogether/Community".
-Choose the Meet-up/GetTogether name, image and web address. If you want your group image to keep its proportions and not look fuzzy (pixelated) once you upload it, make sure to upload a square image that is at least 171 pixels x 171 pixels in size.
-Write a short description of that group for the GetTogether page—information other network members will see when browsing Meet-Ups.
-Make sure to select the Parenting meet-up sub-community.
-Make sure to select the correct privacy option for your group.
-Add the County (LA ,Orange etc)
-Add the Zip Code
- Add the City
- Choose the appropriate GetTogther Category i.e. parenting , playgroups
-Finally, click "Create GetTogether/Community" and start inviting network members to your community.
--Next add a Calendar and your GetTogether Details (Mission; Next Meeting Date etc. )
